You need to take care of your laptop. This means you need to take all reasonable precautions to prevent your laptop from being accidentally damaged, lost, or stolen.

Theft and Accidental Loss

Theft and Accidental Loss must be reported to the police within 24 hours of discovering the theft. You will need to provide the police report number and details of the theft when lodging a claim.

Anti-Virus Protection

There are new viruses and internet scams that emerge every day. Your laptop must have an up to date anti-virus protection software installed to be eligible to make a claim for Data Recovery or Cyber Assist.

The no cover period does not apply where the policy is purchased within 48 hours of the device purchase.
